Here, I post any insight I might have and feel the need to articulate. The name 'trivial insights' was chosen half in jest and half in mild self-deprecation.

The self-deprecatory part is simply asking 'who am I to have anything but trivial things to say?'

The jesting part is that an insight might seem profound to one, but trivial to another. If an insight is trivial, can it still be called an insight? Or is the phrase 'trivial insight' an oxymoron?

The opposite is of course a profound insight, but many insights that were once profound are now trivial. Insights are truly in the eye of the beholder - which itself is a trivial insight, now that you see it.
